1. Who we are
THE BELT (thebelt.lol) is a marketplace operated by Mbason AI LLC (“THE BELT”, “we”). It lets people (“creators”) offer placements on their own X profile and lets businesses (“advertisers”) bid to occupy those placements. By using the site you agree to these terms. THE BELT is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by X Corp.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with all applicable laws and with X’s own rules. Creators may only list X profiles they own and control; ownership is verified before a profile goes live. You are responsible for activity under your access links and for the accuracy of information you provide.
3. The auction
Each profile runs one continuous auction with three placements: banner, pinned post, and bio. Rank is set by the total committed bid; the top three bids hold the placements. New champions receive a protected window during which they keep the placement even if outbid. Bids are one-time charges processed by Stripe; bidding the same destination again raises the existing bid and charges only the difference. Minimum bids and increments apply. A completed payment is required before any ranking or placement changes.
4. Payments, fees, and payouts
Advertisers pay THE BELT through Stripe. THE BELT retains a platform fee (currently 20%) and the remaining share is credited to the creator, payable through Stripe Connect after the creator fulfills the placement. Payments are final except where these terms or applicable law require a refund. Creators are responsible for any taxes on their earnings. THE BELT does not guarantee any advertising result such as sales, signups, or followers.
5. Creator obligations
When you accept a placement you agree to update your X profile to match the winning creative within the stated deadline and to keep it live for the placement period. Failure to fulfill can result in held earnings, refunds to the advertiser, reduced reliability standing, or removal. You may set the advertiser categories you accept; platform-wide prohibitions still apply.
6. Advertiser obligations and prohibited content
Creatives must be lawful and truthful. Prohibited: illegal products, malware, fraud or deceptive financial schemes, impersonation, sexual content, chat/invite links, link shorteners that hide a destination, and anything that violates X’s rules. We may reject or remove content and reverse placements that break these terms.
7. Disputes and refunds
Advertisers may report non-fulfillment or incorrect placement. We review reports with the available evidence and may take no action, credit or refund the advertiser, reverse a creator earning, or sanction an account. We do not refund solely on an unproven allegation.
8. Liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, THE BELT is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior three months. We may change or discontinue features and may update these terms; continued use means acceptance.
