Who we are
THE BELT (thebelt.lol) is operated by Mbason AI LLC. This policy explains what we collect and why. We are an independent marketplace and are not affiliated with X Corp.
What we collect
Account and contact: the email you provide and, for creators, your public X handle and profile details. X verification: if you verify with X, we receive your public X username and account id through X’s OAuth; we request read-only access and never post on your behalf. Bidding and listings: advertiser name, destination URL or handle, bid amounts, and messages you submit. Payments: processed by Stripe; we receive transaction identifiers and status but never your full card or bank details. Usage:page views, clicks, and outbound click counts, kept in aggregate on our own database.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: publish auctions, process bids and payouts, verify profile ownership, prevent fraud and abuse, send transactional email (dashboard links, activation, fulfillment, payouts), and report accurate public metrics. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share data with service providers that make the marketplace work: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database and hosting), our email provider, and our hosting provider. Public auction information (creator handle, standings, advertiser name and link) is shown publicly by design. We disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in links and secure verification flows. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Your choices and retention
You can request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing us, subject to financial and legal record-keeping we are required to maintain. We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above.
